The H & T guide system is a proven machine element. In the fields of handling technology, machine guides, guard doors and fixtures, automation technology and robotics, designers are offered a wide range of application options. In developing the H & T guide system, particular emphasis was placed on a cost-effective and simple design that at the same time offers maximum service life. This modern and pioneering concept results in the following advantages:
The extensive range of H & T track rollers even permits the use of commercial bright steels as rail elements for a very cost-effective linear guide. The different rail designs allow constructions with internal or external guide rails and the design of fixed- and floating-bearing systems.
Even in harsh and dirty environments, reliable operation in vertical and horizontal directions is ensured with only minimal maintenance.
The H & T guide elements offer maximum accuracy thanks to the special manufacturing method. This enables play-free and low-friction operation. Loads from all directions and about all axes can be absorbed.
With the H & T guide system, linear movements of any length can be realised, while the H & T track rollers allow high speeds.
The Harhues & Teufert guide system is intended for handling, machine guides, guard doors and fixtures, automation and robots. It follows a modular principle: the roller range also allows commercial bright steel as the rail. Internal or external rails and fixed/floating bearings are possible. The system is designed for cost-effective construction with a long service life, including in harsh, dirty surroundings, with little maintenance, low-backlash low-friction running, loads from all directions and about all axes, unlimited stroke and high travel speeds. Linear guides are often shipped the same day from stock.
IFW guide units combine steel/aluminium composite rails with carriages as a compact linear guide. One-piece supply length max. 4.3 m, joined to any required length. Order example: 2.4 m rail with two carriages of three rollers each as IFW06-2400+2LW3; low-rust suffix VA. Special carriages on request. Screw strips are not included with IFW carriages. PUR seals and lubricant carriers on IFW 6 and IFW 10; lubricant plates release paraffin oil over 5 to 10,000 km of travel. Operating temperature about −20 °C to +80 °C.
Aluminium composite rails AFW/AFWH: steel shafts induction-hardened to 59 + 6 HRC, rolled into the aluminium profile; thread channels allow fastening without drilling the rail. One-piece up to 4500 mm, longer in sections. Order examples AFW 10 / 4.800 and AFWH 10 / 4.800. FRW/FRWE rollers for running on shafts: two-row angular-contact bearing with gothic arch on a collar pin, lubricated for life, NPP seals both sides, concentric or eccentric, also stainless (suffix VA). For large spans (e.g. portal tracks) a fixed/floating arrangement is documented: profile rollers with shafts on one side, H&T track rollers with shafts or flat rails on the other. Mounting holes ØI H7 (H8); countersinks for DIN 912 or DIN 7984 per DIN 74; screws not included. Carriage plates on request.
For solid steel rails, NRF/NRFE rollers for precision rails PFS/PFSH are documented: continuous, slightly crowned outer ring on needle and axial-needle bearings, concentric, eccentric or stainless. FR/FRE 80, 90 and 120 for shaft guides and steel sections; FRS/FRSE with internal thread for fastening from the carriage side. Precision rails PFS/PFSH in high-chrome tool steel, induction-hardened 60 ± 2 HRC, edges R = 0.5±0.2 mm, twist max. 2°/m, straightness max. 0.5 mm/m; PFS max. 1.5 m per piece, PFSH max. 6 m per piece, joinable with marked sections. Logo and production number; measurement report on request. Stainless and special heat treatment on request. PFL strips to drawing, matching PFS/PFSH pitch (fixed/floating). Precision shafts PFW material 100 Cr6, order example WH 25 h7 x 2000. Round guides PFR up to 700 mm diameter, also from segments. KFR/KFRE and KFRS/KFRSE should be avoided in new designs. AFW or IFW rails and FRWS, FRWSE, NFR or NFRE rollers can be made in a low-rust version.
Rollers and bearings complete the rail systems. Support-roller units HT28 and HT60 are life-lubricated housed bearings for drawn raceways or steel rails; housings S (two M12 threads), D (four 8.5 mm through holes) and SD (six-hole). HT28 formerly NE 41682. Slewing rings are supplied as an authorised GAUR distributor; the partner range covers 200 to 5000 mm. Self-lubricating sintered bearings SELFOIL® are porous sintered bronze or iron, oil-impregnated; the oil lubricates between bearing and shaft so extra lubrication is not required.
