Harhues & Teufert cone clamping elements are standardised machine elements for the friction-locked connection of pulleys, gears, coupling hubs and similar parts on plain shafts or journals. They transmit torque, transverse forces and axial loads. Large shaft-to-hub tolerances are bridged. Keys are not required; the connected parts are not weakened by keyways.
The range covers eight series. Orders use type dxD. Documented examples: series 110 as 110 040x053; 130, 131, 132, 133, 134 and 200 as 040x065 (e.g. 130 040x065); series 300 as 300 040x045. Each series has its own data sheet with dimensions; transferable torque and axial force are given in the catalogue tables for each size.
Mounting conditions on the data sheets: friction coefficient at least 0.12, surface roughness Rz at least 16, shaft/hub fit h8/H8. Series 110 to 200 list clamping screws DIN 912-12.9; series 300 does not list that screw specification on its data sheet. Table notes “at Mt = 0” and “at Ft = 0” apply as printed. Dimensions change with screw engagement depth.
The shaft-hub catalogue and the cone-clamping leaflet are available for download. CAD files for the clamping elements are supplied on request.
Under custom solutions we manufacture bearings to specification: axial ball bearings, split cylindrical roller bearings, full-complement cylindrical roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, combined designs, mast rollers, wrapped inner and outer rings, flange rollers, combined radial-axial rollers and mill rollers. A special-bearing overview PDF is available.
